All participants, including invited speakers, are responsible for their own accomodation arrangements.

As the conference is funded by the NSF some rules and restrictions apply:

1. Recall that US carriers must be used when flying to Israel from USA and back to USA. Participants with USA affiliation have to fly from USA and return to USA.  If the dates of arrival and departure are different than  Sept 29 (arrival) and Oct 4 (departure), then additional paperwork will be required [download form]. The rules are that any combined trip requires combined funding from a source other than this conference NSF fund.

For European participants it is much easier to use $500 which we pay towards hotel (and per diem) as the use of non-US carrier will require the use of a  so-called ``No fly act" (will be provided upon request), which certifies that no alternative US carrier is available.

2. The reimbursement forms and receipts (airfare, hotel) have to be processed by a Penn State secretary within 90 days from the start of the conference. After this date we can no longer process the reimbursement. [download form][instructions]

3. Any questions about reimbursement, please direct to the secretary in charge of reimbursements, Hope Shaffer (hps4@psu.edu) cc  L. Berlyand.
